Teaching & Programs
For over two decades, teaching and transformative education have been at the heart of my work. I have offered courses, workshops, retreats, trainings, and talks in academic and community settings, both online and in person, exploring the meeting places of psychology, ecology, contemplative practice, ancestral wisdom, and the sacred.
My approach to teaching brings intellectual inquiry into conversation with experiential and contemplative practice. Whether through an extended educational program, an intimate workshop, or a single gathering, I am interested in creating spaces where ideas can become lived inquiry, deepening our understanding of ourselves while renewing our participation in the living world.
Upcoming Offerings
Throughout the year, I offer courses, workshops, retreats, talks, and other gatherings exploring different dimensions of my work for universities, institutes, organizations, and communities. These offerings can range from introductory encounters to more sustained explorations and can be developed in response to the interests and context of a particular group. Below you’ll find upcoming opportunities to learn, practice, and gather together, both online and in person (when possible).
Featured Programs
The first Spanish-speaking Transpersonal Ecopsychology Certificate, offered through Instituto Bioalkimia, stands at the confluence of Eastern and Western spiritual teachings, deep ecological thought, and a psychology in service of Soul. Rooted in the natural world, the program offers an interdependent and integrative approach to personal development, ecological awareness, and the cultivation of facilitators and guides of Soul.
Balancing academic rigor with experiential and contemplative practice, the Certificate invites a journey of personal and collective transformation—healing our connection with our essential nature, with others, and with the living Earth, while rediscovering a deeper sense of belonging and service in times of planetary uncertainty.
I developed and co-teach the Certificate as the central educational program of the Institute.
The Work That Reconnects Facilitator Training is a pioneering program created in response to the multiple social and ecological crises of our time and the need for a profound shift in consciousness, greater socio-ecological sensitivity, and a renewed vocation of service.
Rooted in the Work of Joanna Macy and offered through the Work That Reconnects Latin America (TQR Latino), the training weaves personal transformation, community regeneration, and facilitator development. Participants explore the philosophical, paradigmatic, and experiential foundations of the Work That Reconnects while cultivating the inner grounding and practical capacities needed to facilitate this work in their own communities and fields of practice.
As founder of TQR Latino, I have helped develop and steward the training alongside a growing community of collaborators and facilitators throughout Latin America and the Spanish-speaking world.
